Harnessing the immense strength of the engine through its 200mm front lens, the FORTE® Fresnel, with its wide-ranging 10:1 ratio 6°- 61-degree zoom, offers a viable alternative to traditional 2.5 KW and 4 KW HMI Fresnels, within its class-leading sub 40 Kg frame.

Ensuring high output big statement washes, the TE™ 1.000W XP (Xtra Performance) White 6.700 K LED Transferable Engine generates a blistering 90.200 lumens. With the FORTE® Fresnel outputting 40.500 lumens (integrating sphere) from the front of the fixture, you have unsurpassed power and exceptional beam quality.

Our revolutionary self-referencing, data-capturing engines, easily changed within five minutes, are all designed, developed and manufactured within our factory (Robe patented technology). The L70/B50 ratings of 50.000 hours and 4-Year, 20.000-hour warranty assure longevity.

Maintaining Robe’s reputation for exceptional colour mixing, the CMY system provides beautifully smooth colour transitions from the subtlest pastels to the brashest saturates. Combined with two colour wheels, CRI 80 and 90 filters, and a variable CTO from 3.000 - 6.700 K, you have total FORTE® Fresnel colour finesse.

The FORTE® Fresnel has unsurpassed levels of beam control, including medium and light frosts; RotaScrim™ graduated filter with position control, +/- 180° rotation and edge colour correction; and the rapid 4Door™ internal barndoor system for accurate individual leaf control and +/- 90° module rotation to ensure maximum flexibility.

FORTE® Fresnel comfortably operates within any noise-sensitive environment, as it features specialised noise-dampening engineering and an array of fan control options. TE™ – Robe’s Transferable LED Engines

The TE™ technology addresses the problem of performance longevity of ageing LEDs by making the exchange of the engine a simple procedure that can be carried out in just a few minutes. But transferable means so much more than replaceable! Different sources can be fitted to one fixture depending on task. Every TE™ engine has its own, unique memory with all engine data of its usage.

ECC™ – Edge Colour Correction

Edge Colour Correction sets Robe wash moving heads aside from other fixtures by providing the ability to shift the edge of the beam to either the red or blue end. This feature allows more or less definition of the internal barndoors cut, as you alter the beam.

MCE™ – Split and multicolour effects

Robe offers unique split or multi-colour effects in two ways on our profiles and spot fixtures, adding a whole new blend of creativity to your designs! Generated either via a special split-colour filter or directly from MSL™ multi-spectral LED engine.

Robe NFC controller and app

The Robe COM application is an app based on NFC (Near Field Communication). It can be used to access to fixture’s settings of our NFC-based navigation display systems as well as reading out data of our TE™ Transferable Engines.

L3™ – Low Light Linearity System

The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.

REAP™ – Robe Ethernet Access Portal

The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.

Cpulse™ – Pulse Width Modulation Control

Cpulse™ is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control system for luminaires that allows you to select and fine-tune the LED driving frequency, from either the fixture's onboard display or remotely via DMX. By frequency manipulation in a range from 800 Hz to 25 kH, you ensure no flicker will be visible on any camera system including the latest HD & UHD models, ready for 8K and 16K. This means our fixtures can be used with all the latest cameras types for TV, video and film applications.

GDTF – General Device Type Format

The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.

EMS™ – Electronic Motion Stabiliser

The Robe EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabiliser) system is a technology for precise Pan and Tilt movements, which reduces vibrations from audio outputs, truss movement and sprung or suspended floors.

airLOC™

AirLOC™ (Less Optical Cleaning) technology greatly reduces the level of airborne particles drawn over the optical elements in the luminaire.

Epass™

Robe lighting’s Epass™ provides Ethernet in/out connections with a pass-through switch that sustains Ethernet integrity when the fixture has no power to automatically maintain network connectivity.

MagFrost™

There is no need to be stuck with frosts supplied with the fixture! Robe’s MagFrost™ magnetic paddle system provides you with quickly exchangeable frosts, enabling you to select those most suitable for your production. 0.5°, 1°, 3.5°, 5°, 10°, 20° and 30° frosts are available.

QVGA Robe Touch Screen Display System

The QVGA Robe touch screen display gives full access to all fixture setup and diagnostic functions and is very intuitive to navigate.

4Door™ – Internal Barndoors

Robe patented barndoors operate the same way as a conventional external 4-leaf barndoor. The quick, accurate internal 4Door™ barndoor system provides individual position control of the 4 “leafs” and +/- 90° rotation of the complete module assembly.

RotaScrim™ – Graduated Scrim Control

Found within Robe wash lights, our patented RotaScrim™ control feature allows the removal of distracting “hot spots” from the beam where the fixture position is non-perpendicular to the illuminated surface or piece of scenery. The graduated scrim filter smoothly removes eye-catching distractions and makes the projection smooth and even.
